All building in Singapore above mean sea level height of up to 25 mtr and above shall required the provision of the storage water tank to be install for water supply to resident at building. Therefore, builders will install pump system at site to send water to designated units or from one storage water tank to another storage water tank for sufficient water supply.

Pump system required periodic maintenance to avoid unnecessary breakdown that may reason in termination of water supply to apartment/home units. During these periodic survey by professional tech person, they will diagnose and prevent breakdown of the parts such as pumps, pressure tanks, pressure switch, electronic parts in the pump control panel  and pipes … etc. Lastly do the necessary replacement accordingly.

Different type of pump for different location/application:

Transfer Pump
A transfer pump is used to transfer water from transfer tank, usually found at basement or level 1 to roof level water tanks.

Booster Pump
A water booster pump provides pressure to move water from a storage water tank to the expected low water pressure or water flow level or unit of the building.

Sump Pump
A sump pump is deployed to move water from basement to the outside of a house or building through a discharge line from a designated drainage area.
